CALLIOPE | Contemporary candelabra
Calliope is a very unique piece which belongs to the Muse collection.
This design was born by pure chance as I was in the process of creating something completely different. It ended up being a wonderful surprise as I started falling in love with it as soon as I saw it come to life from the black stoneware clay.
Calliope, named by the Greek muse of epic poetry, reminded me of some magical world where candelabra still adorned dinner tables and intimately illuminated dark and mysterious rooms.
The modern design of the Muse collection and the old concept of candelabra came alive in this piece adding a touch of old charm to a contemporary environment.
The Muse collection is hand built in black stoneware clay and is characterized by a modern texture that was patiently hand crafted. Being baked on 1240 degrees Celsius this piece is extremely strong and resistant to heat.

approx. 21 cm wide x 12 cm tall (approx. 8.2 inches wide x 4.7 inches tall).
